It is the end of days. The earth's alliance with the heavens has been impeded by a mysterious, ungodly power. Darkness reigns as the world suffocates under chaos and terror. The souls of the recently deceased wander the land aimlessly and demons, vampires and werewolves ravage the earth as the Lords of Shadow assume their unlawful place as rulers of our temporal plane. A lone warrior, driven by the desire to avenge the brutal murder of his wife, is sent on a quest by The Brotherhood of Light to confront the dark lords in the hope that, by defeating them, he can unite their separate powers and bring equilibrium back to the world. Armed only with an ancient, mystical artifact as his weapon and the spirit of his dead wife as his inspiration and guide, he must travel to the three corners of the Lords' domain to confront them. As the adventure unfolds, the warrior prevails against unquantifiable odds and herculean tasks until he must confront the final, breathtaking challenge - not only the demons that reside at the end of his mission, but also the ones raging inside his own conscience that ultimately reveal the true purpose of his destiny.
